The Hanscom Composite Squadron (HCS) is the largest Civil Air Patrol squadron in Massachusetts with a strong Emergency Services (ES) capability and active Cadet and Senior Member Programs.

HCS has two emergency service ready aircraft at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, Massachusetts. Our Cessna 172 and a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit equipped Cessna 182 airplanes support search and rescue operations year round. There are many opportunities for individuals to contribute to America through active service with CAP. Our all volunteer team is very diverse. HCS members are pilots, professionals, teachers, parents, college students and more.
